Test your language pair in airplane mode. Then you’re ready for places without a signal.
Does Tolki work without Apple Intelligence?
Yes. Apple Intelligence is not required for translation. Download the right language packs beforehand. Additional local models are available for certain languages. Optional AI features may vary by device.
When do I need an internet connection?
For initial language and voice downloads, app updates, purchases and restoring purchases. Translation itself then runs offline on your iPhone.
What is free, and what costs extra?
English and your chosen home language are included free. Unlock more languages individually or as a complete pack with a one-time purchase. There is no subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Will Tolki work with my hearing aids?
Tolki supports audio output through compatible hearing aids connected to your iPhone. Available audio routes depend on the model and iOS. Try Tolki with your devices; our support team can help with questions.
Are my conversations sent to the cloud?
No. Speech, text and camera content are processed locally for translation. Favourites and learning data also stay on your device. In local chat, you share content with the connected conversation partner.
